Technical basic courses laid a foundation of ‘math, data and computing’ to come in other projects. These courses have been the toughest for me, though after years of experience and finally finding the right mindset I passed all of them in time.

Modeling
Justifying design decisions with the use of models. Learning to solve problems, by use of models. Being able to see a problem in mathematical terms and interpreting results back to the original problem. Got to do this three years in a row, earned me the nickname: “Modelleerling”.
Use Basics
User, Society & Enterprise. USE-basics was actually a enjoyed. Working with students from other faculties was challenging sometimes. Ethics and historical analysis were done to gain social cultural awareness.
