Learning by doing is an efficient way to learn new things. In order to learn properly this elective has shown to put effort into every little detail. Sanding and painting for hours had never made so much impact. Eventually, the elective showed me how to look differently at objects and plan ahead. Observing, analyzing and sketching. Planning ahead and creating clarity, showing your intentions/decisions. Before the elective, I already was quite a perfectionist, though after I was even a bigger one, luckily. Design is in the details and form is the continuous dialogue between your eyes and hands.
