Designing for an Active Lifestyle
During this elective project, we explored how to design for societal transformation in a health and wellbeing context, by using real-time data. This by choosing context and collecting data to understand daily routines and how to break certain habits through interventions. In our project, this focused on sleep patterns of inactive versus sportive students. This by collecting data with Fitbits.
From this elective, I learned hands-on how to carefully work with real data of real participants. This showed how there are challenges in interpreting data as it emerges over longer periods and how to process it to something useful. This while maintaining legal and ethical integrity for the audience.
